Located on the eastern edge of the City of Charlottesville, Woolen Mills is one of the oldest neighborhoods in the city. The majority of Woolen Mills homes are single-family residential, though there is a small mix of other residential housing and some light industrial zoning. Residents are near Meade Park, which has a new pool and other recreational features, the Rivanna Trail, and Riverview Park. The Downtown Mall is just a few blocks away and additional shopping and dining options in the Pantops area are just a short drive away.
