Christopher John Francis Boone is a 15-year-old mathematician. He’s brilliant, literal, absolute, and difficult. He fears being touched; he dreams of being an astronaut. At 12:07 AM, Christopher discovers a slain dog named Wellington in his neighbors’ yard. He determines to uncover the truth. His quest is fraught with obstacles—both physical and emotional. Yet he persists in decoding this enigma with arithmetical precision; and in doing so, he uncovers more hidden truths.
This adaptation by the acclaimed playwright Simon Stephens is intensely, innately theatrical; it is also funny and extremely moving.
